RHS Flower Show, Tatton 2011
Just as we are about to leave Summer, I thought it would be good to take a reflective look at our work at the RHS Flower Show, Tatton this last July.
A local garden designer, Carolyn Hardern, approached us to see if we were interested in helping out with her garden for the show. We obviously jumped at the chance.
The design idea was to have two rows of log walls running in towards each other, creating a narrower gap to force the eye towards a sculpture.

We sat down with Carolyn and came up with the idea of 3 Oak posts to each wall, held firm by stainless steel wire running along the top of each post. The idea was simple yet very effective.

Carolyn’s garden named ‘Perspective’ was sponsored by Chalon Handmade Kitchens.

Carolyn and her team did some lovely planting which resulted in her winning a Silver medal.
