An Oak Gazebo is the perfect way to provide shelter for when you want to dine or sit outside. We can position our Oak Gazebos either on a paved patio area or on footings at a particular advantage point to take in the view from your garden. One customer used an Oak Frame Gazebo with a cedar shingle roof to provide a view point across their Japanese bridge and lily pond, recreating a classic garden by Monet, it looks stunning.
Gazebos generally consist of four Oak posts, larger structures have 6, which sit on staddle stones. Gazebos are usually open sided although back or side panels can be added to give additional shelter if required. Side panels can be in featheredged Larch, waney edge Larch, or cedar with some clients choosing more contemporary glass panels. All our gazebos are manufactured from substantial constructional grade Oak timbers, feature knee braces with mortice and tenon pegged joints.
The roof on a gazebo is usually hipped and a variety of roof coverings, cedar shingles, slates or tiles, can be used to complement your garden and property. Some clients choose to include tongue and groove boarding or panelling under the roof.
An Oak frame gazebo adds an elegant and classic feature to your garden/property but is also very practical and versatile in use.
Testimonials about our oak gazebos
Mrs Davis, Wirral
"Cheshire Oak Structures go beyond your expectations. We have done a lot of building projects in the past which have been stressful and we have been let down on time scales, untidiness & little problems that meant they did not go smoothly. Not so with Cheshire Oak Structures. They “do it” like it should be done and deserve every credit for the best possible service from start to finish. This is how every company should be! We wholeheartedly recommend Cheshire Oak Structures. Thank you."
