With Oak frame garages being at the core of our business at Cheshire Oak Structures we naturally meet a large number of car lovers and enthusiasts as our Oak Garages offer an ideal garaging solution and storage environment.
We’ve put this blog together to show the variety of events you can enjoy with your car this summer. Some of the events have happened but they are included so we remember them for next year.
We have the traditional old school British Summer season with Chelsea Flower Show, Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, Henley Regatta but there’s also a whole summer season that exists for car lovers.
Summer is the perfect time to experience your classic or performance car on the open road. From high-octane historic motorsport festivals to relaxed garden concours events, the UK offers an unforgettable calendar of summer gatherings for car enthusiasts.
There really is something for everyone. Whether you enjoy watching high speed track events, a picnic beside your prized vehicle, a day out with the family or a good old fashioned drive.
The event that started the idea for this blog was held just after Chelsea Flower Show in June. The London Concours was held at the Honourable Artillery Company and featured a collection of 120 rare performance cars, including the 2013 McLaren P1, a 2009 Bugatti Veyron, a Gordon Murray T.50, an Aston Martin Valkyrie, a 2025 Aston Martin Valhalla, a 2025 Koenigsegg Jesko, a Mercedes-AMG One, a Porsche 918, Ferrari Monza SP2, Lamborghini Reventón and the glamorous Lamborghini Sián FKP 37.
If you missed the London Concours, Hampton Court Palace hosts The Concours of Elegance from 4 to 6 September, bringing together a selection of 60 of the rarest cars from around the world – many of which have not been seen before in the UK. Home - Concours of Elegance

Oulton Park Supercar Pageant 20 June
The Cheshire venue hosted a magnificent selection of supercars, including Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Porsches. The event featured displays with opportunities for enthusiasts to get a close look at the vehicles and track action with the Porsche Cup Championship and Porsche Club Boxster Cup. The new Ferrari Superformance Classic, alongside the Radical Cup UK and the Focus Cup Championship also featured. Supercar Pageant @ Oulton Park June 2026
Bolesworth International, Cheshire, 26-28 June
This year the Bolesworth International features two kinds of horsepower, equine and motor. The Drivers Lawn is a new addition for 2026 with two themed weekends. The first, 26 to 28 June, launches the Bolesworth Concours, with rare and historic cars then the weekend of 2 to 5 July features modern supercars.
Tatton Park near Knutsford hosts the Classic & Retro Car Revival from August 15–16.
A weekend celebrating classic and retro cars. With over 2,000 pristine display vehicles expected plus a large trade mart to source hard-to-find spares. Classic car owners can also apply to exhibit their own cars for free prior to the show.
Further into Cheshire, Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield holds the Cheshire Classic Car & Motorcycle Show from August 30–31. This is a family friendly show that attracts 400 to 500 vintage and classic vehicles each day. The Highlight this year is a dedicated Mercedes-Benz Day with a vehicle concourse.

July 9–12, 2026, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Chichester, West Sussex. This legendary four-day automotive garden party features everything from pre-war grand prix cars to modern supercars and the famous hillclimb. 13 - 16 July , Grantley Hall Yorkshire hosts the North of England’s most prestigious event, Yorkshire Elegance. Featuring a Concours d’Elegance of some of the rarest cars in the world, a driving tour with fine dining and overnight stay, the Concours Awards and a Finale Dinner. The Event - Yorkshire Elegance
August 22–24, 2026, Silverstone Festival, Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire, taking place over the August Bank Holiday, the Silverstone Festival is a massive celebration of historic motorsport with iconic classic touring cars, GTs, and Formula 1 cars racing on the full Grand Prix circuit. 2 - 6 September, Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire Salon Privé 2026 at Blenheim Palace | Luxury Cars, Fine Dining & Style
For a highly social, laid-back morning out, the Bicester Scramble events are legendary. Taking place on a beautifully preserved former WWII RAF bomber station, these events encourage owners of all ages and types of car to simply arrive, park up, and wander around the massive collection of classics, "barn finds," and exotics that show up on the day.
There are lots of other local events, plus museums like the Great British Car Journey Great British Car Journey | A tour through British motoring history or more venues such Caffeine & Machine The Hill, Warwickshire host more informal gatherings for car lovers.
With so many different events there's lots of opportunities to get out and about to enjoy you car this summer.
