Oak Frame Buildings Feature in Period Living Magazine

We are very excited and proud to have one of our Oak Summerhouse designs included in the Oak Frame Buildings feature in the August issue of Period Living Magazine (

Period Living Magazine contacted Cheshire Oak Structures Ltd to ask if they could feature the below beautiful Oak frame summerhouse we designed and built several years ago having seen our website. They selected this Oak summerhouse from the range we have designed to suit individual client’s properties.

We design summerhouses using traditionally crafted Oak Frames in a range of sizes, styles and finishes to suit all property types and locations.

An Oak frame summerhouse creates a beautiful place in the garden for outdoor living. They can be cool and shady in the summer and when finished inside with insulation can be used through the winter months. These Oak structures are not only places where people love spending time but are very versatile and can also be used as an extra room for an office, playroom or guests, adding real value to a property.

We do not just design summerhouses. We also design Oak Frame garages, car ports, gazebos, pavilions, cook houses, garden offices, gyms, swimming pool enclosures and stables. The best place to look for more inspiration is the gallery on our website. All the Oak Structures shown on our website have been designed and built by ourselves.

Cheshire Oak Structures manage the full process from planning, design, groundworks, supply of frame, construction, joinery, ironmongery, roofing and drainage. We work predominantly in Cheshire and the neighbouring areas of Shropshire, Staffordshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Derbyshire and North & Mid Wales.

If you would like to discuss an Oak frame summerhouse or one of the other Oak structures please contact us through the enquiry form on the website or email
